About the manufacturer
mawa design makes luminaires with surfaces chosen for their feel. Aluminium housings are shaped using CNC technology and electrostatically powder-coated. Standard colours include matt white RAL 9016, deep black RAL 9005, red, blue, beige and grey, and all RAL, DB and NCS colours are available on request.
Other finishes include industrial, raw aluminium, and polished chrome, brass, bronze and copper. Some pendant lamps use mouth-blown glass or hand-made triplex glass with three layers. Ceramic wall and ceiling lamps, produced in cooperation with the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM), are also part of the range.
