About the manufacturer

Kay Bojesen (1886–1958) was a Danish silversmith who regarded himself first and foremost as a craftsman. He aimed to create objects that would function well and last. He trained at Georg Jensen's silver workshop in Copenhagen, and later worked with silver, wood and toys.

His work includes the Grand Prix cutlery, first shown in 1938 in silver and later produced in matte stainless steel, and the monkey figure presented in 1951. The family continues his legacy by introducing his designs in updated materials and sizes.

The catalog offers handcrafted decorative objects in the monkey design, made of teak and oak wood, 19 cm high.
